Your journey begins in Athens, where ancient wonders meet cosmopolitan flair. You will settle into the elegant 5-star Athens Marriott Hotel. A welcome reception and group dinner with wine or beer will set the tone for the days ahead. An included guided visit to the Acropolis will offer a powerful introduction to the cultural heartbeat of Greece.
Next, a short flight (included) will take you to the sparkling shores of Mykonos. You will check in to the luxurious 5-star Myconian Avaton, perched above the Aegean with breathtaking views. Explore the island’s charming lanes and beaches on an included guided tour and enjoy two group dinners featuring Greek flavours with wine or beer included. There will be ample time to relax or discover more. An optional local excursion will be available for those who wish to dive deeper into the island’s offerings (TBA).
From Mykonos, you will travel by ferry (included) to the dramatic cliffs and whitewashed villages of Santorini. Spend four nights at the 4.5-star Santorini Palace, ideally located for easy access to Fira and the famous sunsets of Oia. Enjoy two included group dinners with wine or beer, along with plenty of free time to explore or simply take in the view. A highly recommended optional morning boat cruise will offer the chance to explore nearby islands and Santorini’s volcanic coastline.
Your final island escape will take you to Crete, Greece’s largest island, via a high-speed ferry (included). Stay at the 5-star Out of the Blue Resort, a lush seaside retreat where daily breakfast and dinner with wine and beer are included providing you an all-inclusive experience! Spend your time unwinding by the sea or exploring the island’s rich cultural and culinary traditions. Optional excursions on this island will include a tasting of locally produced olive oils and another highlighting the region’s distinctive wines, each offering a flavourful and authentic glimpse into Cretan life.
Return to Athens via a short flight (included for travellers who have purchased the Collins Tours Inclusive Flight Package) for one final evening in the capital city – a chance to unwind, reflect, and toast to your journey during a special farewell dinner with wine or beer included, before flying home with lasting memories of Greece’s beauty, warmth, and timeless charm. We will have the Acropolis inclusion for Athens, and guided tour on day 3 of tour, or second day in Athens. We will also have an included guided tour of Mykonos.
As mentioned in Santorini, I would like to do an optional boat cruise for the morning around islands and even to another island perhaps, we would need to research this further. In Crete, we will do an olive and wine tasting optional tour, and we need one more optional tour in Mykonos as well, not sure what yet, but it would be good to have here.
We will be including the flight from Athens to Mykonos and the ferry from MYK to SAN – and flight from SAN – Crete in the tour package price. Yes, guests will have to have luggage in hand when on the ferry system, and this needs to be clear on the itinerary as it’s the same way with every tour company using ferry systems in Greece or the Mediterranean.
The meal inclusions should be:
15 full buffet breakfasts
10 group dinners with wine or beer
Welcome reception with hot and cold appetizers and beer
So 25 group meals plus welcome reception.
