• All stops for passenger pick-up/drop off will be brief (10-15 min.) and we ask that you remain on
the motorcoach unless it is a scheduled coffee break or lunch stop. Times are tentative until final
itinerary is released.
• For your convenience, today’s drive includes two coffee breaks and an hourlong lunch stop at the
Lincoln Big Stop (your expense).
• We will arrive at the Hotel Palace Royale this evening, which will be your home for the next two nights.
• Relax while your tour manager checks you in, hands out your key card, and has your bag (one per person,
please) sent to your room; all part of our signature Collins Tours group check in service, included with
each hotel stay. One of the many perks to group travel (fees included).
• Tonight, we’ve scheduled a “Welcome Dinner,” for our guests complete with a complimentary glass of wine
or beer (included). Take time to get to know your fellow travelers as you prepare to embark on

• Lunch and the afternoon can be spent how you choose. Perhaps
shopping and further exploring Old Quebec is your style!
• Join us tonight for another Collins Tours Group Dinner
(included) at a local favourite French restaurant in one of the
oldest buildings in Québec, located in the heart of Old Quebec.
Following dinner, you will be transferred back to your hotel, and
you can enjoy the evening as you please.

• Get set for an exciting day along the north shore of
the St. Lawrence River with stops at the Albert
Gilles Copper Boutique & Museum, and in Sainte
Anne-de-Beaupre at the famous shrine to Saint
Anne, mother of Mary Magdalen (admission and tour included). Enjoy an hour on your own to
explore the magnificent architecture and detailed 350 plus years of history of the Basilica!

Tentative Itinerary – Old Quebec City & Saguenay Tour 2026
• This afternoon we continue our scenic drive along the St. Lawrence River to Tadoussac, the site of
the first French trading post in New France and the village where the St Lawrence and Saguenay
Rivers converge. A hot spot for whale watching any time of year!
• Enjoy our signature group check-in service upon arrival (late afternoon) at your 4-star
accommodations, the Hotel Tadoussac.
• This evening meet your tour manager for another delicious Collins Tours group dinner in the
hotel’s dining room.

(included) before unforgettable adventures in this historic
port with ties back to many First Nations groups including
the Iroquois, Mohawk and Mi’qmak then the earliest
French-speaking settlers.
• The highlight of the day (and possibly your tour) is our
whale-watching expedition this morning with our partners
at Croisieres AML (AML Cruises). Tadoussac is known worldwide for its abundance of whale species,
with Humpbacks, minkes, blue whales and the more unique white beluga (price of whale watching
tour included), all regularly sighted at this time of the year. Be sure to bring extra clothes in case
the weather changes. After your whale watching cruise
return to your hotel for some downtime or more time
exploring the community’s rich collection of unique shops
and restaurants by foot.
• Lunch and dinner are on own today. Relax at the beach,
explore the beautiful grounds, visit local art galleries, and
wood carving shops, and see more of what many say is one
of Quebec’s most beautiful villages!

• Enjoy your complimentary buffet breakfast (included) before our check-out and our drive to the
ferry terminal at Les Escoumins, QC to cross the mighty St. Lawrence River.
• Be sure to keep watch for more of those amazing marine mammals during the 1-hour, 45-minute
ferry crossing across the St. Lawrence (Tickets and fees included).
• After we disembark in Trois-Pistoles, QC we’ll have a lunch-stop along our route to our hotel in
Rivière-du-Loup, the Hotel Universel.
• Upon arrival at the hotel your tour manager will have your suitcase delivered to your room once
again.
• Join your fellow travellers this evening for your “Farewell Dinner” (Included). A complimentary

• Time to make our way home, enjoying more fabulous fall colors along the way (weather
permitting). Remember to set your watches forward 1 hour as we cross back into New
Brunswick.
